Gulfstream Technical Operations provides accurate, reliable and prompt technical services to Gulfstream operators, Field Service Representatives and Gulfstream Service Centers. The group’s Systems Specialists use their fleet experience to assist in troubleshooting aircraft and returning them to service. They also identify situations that may indicate the need for design changes and provide those recommendations to the appropriate Engineering Section for resolution. Technical Operations also offers company-wide technical support, as required, to meet customer needs.
Large-Cabin Mechanical Systems Group
The Mechanical Systems Group provides technical support for a number of aircraft systems, including the landing gear; brakes; flight controls; nose wheel steering; hydraulics; engines, auxiliary power units (APUs) and their directly related subsystems; bleed air system; air conditioning; pressurization; door seal system; fire protection system (along with the hand-held extinguishers mounted in the aircraft interior); crew/passenger oxygen; thrust reversers; and ice and rain protection.
Mid-Cabin Mechanical Systems Group
The Mechanical Systems Group provides technical support for landing gear; brakes; flight controls; nose wheel Steering; hydraulics; engines, APUs and their directly related subsystems; bleed air system; air conditioning; pressurization; door seal system; fire protection system (along with the hand-held extinguishers mounted in the aircraft interior); crew/passenger oxygen; thrust reversers; and ice and rain protection.
Avionics/Electrical Group
The Avionics and Electrical Group provides all avionics- and electrical-related support, including auto flight, communications, electric power, angle of attack, fuel quantity calibration, lights, navigation, SATCOM, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Broad Band Multi-Link (BBML), and the completion/installation of products.

Structures Group
The Structures team serves as the primary point of contact for any issue of a structural nature, to include corrosion or accidental damage, or damage relating to the main fuselage, wings, stabilizers, flight controls, windows and windshields. This team is also the primary contact for issues relating to interior equipment and furnishings.
NetJets Group
The Net Jets Support team is dedicated to initiating and monitoring unscheduled maintenance activities for the composite Gulfstream fleet of large- and mid-cabin aircraft The specialists liaison directly with the operator and multiple maintenance providers to ensure adequate support wherever the aircraft may be located.
Technical Bulletin Group
The Technical Bulletins team within Technical Operations is responsible for coordinating and managing the process of developing and issuing technical communication to Gulfstream operators.
- Customer Bulletins and Aircraft Service Changes for the large-cabin aircraft
- Service Bulletins for the mid-cabin aircraft
- Maintenance and Operations Letters
- Single point of contact for coordinating and managing the procurement and distribution of PlaneView software for the in-service, Initial and Final Phase aircraft
Customer Support Business Office Group
The Business Office is responsible for the sale and distribution of serial-number-specific repair/ blueprint drawings and supplemental type certificate (STC) data packages. Additionally, this group oversees the close and posting of all work orders and sales invoices for Technical Operations, Repair Control, and Spare Part Sales. The Business Office is also the point of contact for Gulfstream GIV and G200 MSG-3 conversion.
